Get to Know Me
I love the moment someone says, “How did you know that? I couldn’t even put it into words.”My strongest gift is sensing what people feel beneath what they say. As a medicine woman, I help bring that knowing into view so you can understand what is happening within you and begin trusting your own wisdom. For over 25 years, I have guided people through private sessions and sacred practices, taking this work around the world through retreats. There is depth in what we explore, and there is laughter. I want you to enjoy being yourself and feel the possibilities in your life.I created the IGNITE Sacred Living Method because what we experience in sacred moments deserves a place in our everyday lives. That understanding became deeply personal during my own journey to India.
My Encounter with Arch Angel Gabriel
During a visit to a Greek Orthodox church in Israel, I felt drawn toward a dark alcove where I could hear running water. As I stepped inside, I saw a bright purple light take the form of an angel.
I closed my eyes in fear, but I could still see it. A gentle voice told me not to be afraid. Then the vision disappeared.
When I returned to the car, my husband stared at me. He said there was a golden light glowing around me. “I just saw an angel,” I blurted out.
The following day, we learned that the church stood above the well traditionally associated with Mary’s encounter with Archangel Gabriel.
A few nights later, Gabriel came to me in a dream. The message was clear: share your wisdom with the world. Again, I heard, “Do not be afraid.”
I returned home with a deeper commitment to sharing my work. I helped people understand the emotions shaping their lives and witnessed the joy of seeing them become passionate about living again. That work grew into my book and program, Navigating Your Life: The Road to Emotional Freedom.
That encounter remains a deeply personal part of why I teach and encourage others to trust the gifts they carry.

My Journey to Sacred Living
Six days after surgery to remove a mass, I boarded a plane to Greece to lead a two week retreat.
People had booked their flights and trusted that I would be there. My body was still healing, but I knew how to keep going. I guided others into sacred practices and encouraged them to listen to their bodies while my own was asking for rest.
When I returned home, the mass began growing again.
I went to Rishikesh, India, on my own healing journey. Each morning, I rose before the sun and practiced beside the Ganges. Away from my usual responsibilities, I began looking honestly at how I was living.
Inside the Cave of Jesus
I entered a place known as the Cave of Jesus expecting to meditate. Instead, I felt a presence I can only describe as Christ Consciousness. My body began to shake, and I began to sob.
What I felt reached beyond my own life. I felt the pain of people who had given so much of themselves that they had lost touch with their souls. People who had built meaningful lives yet were too exhausted to experience them.
An understanding moved through me:
We have been taught how to build a life, but very few of us have been taught how to care for the soul living inside it.
Bringing It Home
The care I offered others needed to reach me, too. Sacred Living had to become the way I lived.
When I returned, my family felt the difference. My clients felt it. I felt happier and lighter. I began making room for myself within the life I already had.
That experience is at the heart of the IGNITE Sacred Living Method and the retreats I guide: helping you bring what awakens within you into the life you live every day.

What is a Modern Medicine Person?
Why Do I Call Myself One?
Along my journey to becoming a medicine woman, I took on many different titles, with a list that seemed to change as I grew. These included Reiki Master, transformational healing coach, happiness coach, Qigong practitioner, energy worker, and more. One day after a ceremony with Red Medicine, I told him I didn't know what to call myself. First, he squinted his eyes, looked toward the sky, and then said, "You are Teaching Spirit. I chuckled and said. "No, that is the name of my company," he shook his head and said, "No. The grandmothers are telling me they gave you the name Teaching Spirit". Still confused, I said,” Well then, what do I call my work?” he said, "You are a medicine woman. You carry medicine within you. You are here to heal the spirit." At that moment, it all came flooding in. The years of following my heart, working on a cancer patient in the morning, helping a woman going through a divorce in the afternoon, and then being at the birth of another client’s child late in the evening seemed to cover a lot more than my titles ever fit. Red medicine and I had a great chat that day. He explained that the spirit is what gets us through life, and when it is weak or sick, a medicine person is the one who heals and rebuilds their spirit so their mind, emotions, and body can get strong. He or she is the one to whom people go to the council, including the tribe's leaders. The elders were constantly called upon when there were significant changes or decisions to be made in the tribe, and the medicine person was always the one to make the final decision before presenting it to the tribe.
Today, many people struggle in life, always seeking someone to give them advice. A friend, a family member, a doctor, a psychiatrist, a life coach, and the list goes on. They may all give good advice, but they don’t get to the core of the struggle, and many times give advice that would work for them, not the person asking. It is the spirit that gets weak, tired, confused, and lost. Answers and guidance are not enough to build your spirit to be strong and free. A medicine person is trained to work with the spirit. To communicate with the spirit of the individual and to clear and heal things from the core. To support, nudge, and carry the spirit to the light. Using the tools of indigenous people and their innate gifts, a medicine person becomes a vital part of their client's life. All aspects of their life. Always there to reconnect them with spirit. To guide them to their highest potential. To open their heart when it is closed, to remind them of who they are, to assist in their healing when they are sick, and to celebrate the turning points of their life.
There are so many walking this earth with a lost spirit. It is time for the medicine people of this generation to take their rightful place in the community. To bring spirit back into the community. To heal the world, we must first heal ourselves. To truly heal, you must heal the spirit, not just the vessel that carries it. To heal the earth, our mother, we must remember we are part of her, we are a reflection of her.
The earth represents what we feel inside of ourselves. It describes what our spirit is feeling. Yes, to all the medicine people out there, I thank you. To those feeling the calling, you know who you are; step up and join us. Spirit is calling you.
